“Better known for other work”

This is an understated footnote:

The footnote is from Lara Pudwell’s “Digit Reversal Without Apology” and while the article discusses the scientific work of Alan Sutcliffe and T.J. Kaczynski the footnote does at least hint that you might have heard of the other … work … Kaczynski did. In case you don’t recognise the name, Kaczynski is a murderous eco-terrorist known as the Unabomber.
