Or rather, I want less CO2 in the atmosphere and lower levels of oceanic acidification. But I can’t help but hear about how renewables (primarily solar and wind) on the one hand doesn’t really lower our CO2 emissions and on the other hand raise the price of energy. And a higher price on energy costs lives.
I realise that nuclear fission has been ruled out as a politically acceptable solution and nuclear fusion is still 15 years in the future, which it has been since the 1980’s. We may never get nuclear fusion.
What do we do then?
