Being irreplaceable

Never forget: you are irreplaceable until you leave, then you are forgotten.

I’ve touched on this before, quoting others and myself.

Basically, the message is that you should be careful about who you devote your life to. Family and (true) friends, yes. Work? Probably not.

It’s important to remember that your “loyalty” should always be rational, never complete or ideological.
