After the FIA swearing kerfuffle – no, I’m not a rapper either – I was reminded of this classic edit of a Sesame Street clip:

I see a point in not swearing all the time, but it is pointless to have a placeholder to cover that, when everyone is culturally conditioned to know what that placeholder is covering.
