Dealing with liars

This was why I mostly refused to discuss whatever Donald Trump had just said and why I usually don’t find it productive to talk about what has been said on Russian TV:

When lies become so obvious that everyone can tell they are lies, the goal of the liar is to get you to talk about the lies. Resist.

And this is coming from someone who fell for at least one of the lies.
