Cheap clients

Some of the strangest experiences I’ve had sound like this:

Charge more and your clients are nicer

The truest and most reliable lesson in freelancing.
Alex Napier Holland

A long time ago when I did web dev, we found time & again that the cheapskate clients were always the worst; most unreasonable, & most demanding.

The higher-end clients understood the value of our work, the value of time, & the value of money.
Joshua P

One time I had a client that consistently believed that anyone he hired were the experts of their field, because why else would he have hired them? It did cause some disconnect when we were more than one contractor and we disagreed on some specifics.

I also admit that those clients that acted as if they valued our work did get treated better in the process. Funny how that works.
