Have you tried turning it off and on again?

From the great “The Inmates are Running the Asylum” by Alan Cooper:

What Do You Get When You Cross a Computer with a Car?

A computer!

And as Cooper pointed out, this was not restricted to cars but to anything that was crossed with a computer. You get a computer.

This also applies to aircraft.

So, the Airbus A350-941 needs to be completely rebooted every 149 hours or it will stop working.

This is a commercial aircraft seating more than 300 passengers.

See, it’s not just Boeing (theirs at least ran 248 days before needing a reboot).

EASA issued this warning in 2017 and just recently revised the warning reminding airlines that the warning only applies to all those bought before Airbus fixed the bug. Which is a lot of aircrafts.
