Being run off social media

Wil Wheaton is a good actor, a good writer and seems like a decent person. I actually once met him and I like him.

He is, unfortunately, also an easy target for trolls*.

Recently he left Twitter, for good reasons, and, because he thought social media still has a future, tried Mastodon. He recently published the story of how he got run off that as well.

He still has his blog. Everyone should have a blog.

Least I Could Do has covered this as well.

*) Trolls seek vulnerabilities and any admission of caring can be used as a vulnerability.
