Gode råd til udvikling

Tony Bowden har på sin “Agitprop Àgogo” blog en lang række gode råd til opstart af frivillige organisationer og til udvikling af software. Eller rettere, en lang række opsange om hvad man ikke skal gøre.

Start bare med “Accelerated Development” om hvorfor store dokumenter om hvad man påtænker at gøre bare betyder at man ikke får lavet det der skal bruges. Og at når man har skrevet mange af sådanne dokumenter kommer man til sidst til at tro at det er den eneste måde at komme fremad selvom man sagtens indser at man stort set ikke bevæger sig. F.eks.

“Some of the [CEE Trust’s Civil Society Forum] attendees, however, simply couldn’t accept that the projects being demoed had been built in two days. That was so far outside their worldview that they simply couldn’t hear that. Instead they decided that the teams must have spent the last two days creating the presentations, relating to projects that they’d clearly been working on for six months or a year or more.”

I stedet er det en bedre ide bare at komme igang.
